If you love Italia (think of the island of Murano) like I do and are a college student like I am, then this chandelier is for you: a crafty piece of cheap paper. Ironically enough, it was designed to be displayed in the holiday window of Tiffany & Company. It is on display until December [...]

So, Kevin asked me to create a background element to be placed within a golden frame for one of their big magic shows. Kevin said it was big.. little did I know he meant giant. The show just opened and I finally got to see it.

As part of my 3D problem solving class, I have been working on a pop-up invitation card for a Museum Exhibition for Dale Chihuly. I recently came across these videos that make me think of paper in a whole new way. I am just crossing my fingers my card will be just as interesting.

Behind the scenes:

So the two reason why I like Cristina Aguilera is because her heritage is Ecuadorian (from Guayaquil, to be exact) and because her new promo is superb. Hah! Imaginary Forces put their power together for Her Keeps Getting Better motion graphics spot for Target.

I recently came across this photo that made me reconsider how cool tattoos look on skin. Belgian conceptual artist Wim Delvoye tatoos a pig in the “Art Farm.” The pigs are raised by a staff and tatooed by professional artists and then the animals are displayed in art exhibitions and their skins sold to collectors [...]

The purpose behind this project was to package a phobia: the fear of humans.
Ironically, my family went through an experience just as I was designing this box hundreds of miles on the opposite end of the continent. This made the project much more personal to me.

FLOWmarket is the thought-provoking creation of Danish designer Mads Hagstroem (b.1976)… a line of products that caught my interest right away. If you are thinking what to give me for Christmas, think of empty cans and bottles. =)
Check it out: FLOWmarket
